Extremas Magnum XP Planer has a feed speed of 20-110 ft/min., jointer style infeed, patented top and bottom Super Slide out cutterheads, pneumatically loaded hold down rolls, a hard chrome plated bed, optinal long infeed table, disc brakes, massive four post elevation system and is available with Vector, Stealth, Mach or Straight Knife cutter Heads.

Jointer Style Infeed with Carpet Feed System
The combination of the jointer style infeed with the carpet feed system enables the planer to easily plane cups out of boards like no other machine.

Pneumatic Loaded Feed System
The pneumatically loaded feed system increases the hold down capability of the planer. It can also be adjusted to suit special planing needs.

The Magnum XP has a unique way of holding down cupped lumber. Spring hold down rollers conform to the shape of the wood and does not press any deformations out of the wood. This way, the bottom of the work piece is planed flat without stress so that it has a square bottom to work off of before passing under the top head.
