Fully enclosed magnetic starter for use on dust collectors, tablesaws, and other machinery that require a magnetic starter. A magnetic starter is an OSHA requirement on most machines and disables the machine from automatically turning on after a power outage.

Soft start is the process of initially starting a motor in series so that the amp draw is not excessively high during startup. Then after a predetermined time, the motor will be at maximum RPM, thus the motor switches over to parallel wiring.

These units are specifically designed for use with 6 motor leads.
